Bellevue Strategies Welcomes Karin Annerhed-Harris as Director of Nonprofit Development

Philadelphia, PA — June 13th, 2024  —Bellevue Strategies is proud to announce the appointment of Karin Annerhed-Harris as the new Director of Strategic Initiatives. With nearly two decades of dedicated service in the nonprofit sector, Karin has focused on enhancing partnerships, securing funding, and shaping policies to benefit vulnerable groups in health and human services.

Karin's distinguished career is marked by notable achievements and impactful contributions. She has been honored with the Social Innovations Public Policy & System Change Award and served on Philadelphia Mayor Kenney's Transition Team for Human Services, reflecting her commitment to public service and community betterment.

Karin's professional journey began as Director of Operations at The Nouveau Image, where she successfully marketed and raised funds for nonprofits supporting low-income individuals. Her passion for development led her to Vision For Equality, where as Director of Development, she raised over $1 million and significantly increased the Pennsylvania budget for Intellectual Disabilities Services under Governor Corbett.

In 2014, Karin advanced to the role of Associate Director at The Alliance of Community Service Providers, collaborating with over 90 nonprofits on critical policy and funding issues. Her expertise and leadership further expanded at Resources for Human Development, where she joined as VP of Business Development in 2020, driving initiatives that resulted in a remarkable $70 million growth.

Karin is also a co-founder of Families for Houston, an organization supporting local public schools, and has been actively involved in community initiatives such as Disability Pride 2012. Since 2016, she has been a dedicated Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters, demonstrating her personal commitment to mentorship and community service.

Karin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, specializing in international business and marketing.
