Karin Annerhed-Harris
Director of Strategic Initiatives
Karin Annerhed-Harris has nearly two decades of experience in the non-profit sector, focusing on improving partnerships, funding, and policies for vulnerable groups in health and human services. She has received the Social Innovations Public Policy & System Change Award and served on Philadelphia Mayor Kenney's Transition Team for Human Services.
Her career began as Director of Operations at The Nouveau Image, where she marketed and raised funds for non-profits serving low-income individuals. She then became Director of Development at Vision For Equality, raising over $1 million and increasing the PA budget for Intellectual Disabilities Services under Governor Corbett.
In 2014, Karin became Associate Director at The Alliance of Community Service Providers, working with over 90 nonprofits on policy and funding. In 2020, she joined Resources for Human Development as VP of Business Development, leading initiatives that resulted in a $70 million growth.
Karin co-founded Families for Houston to support her local public school and has been involved in community initiatives like Disability Pride 2012. She has been a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters since 2016. She holds a B.B.A. from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, specializing in international business and marketing.
